Notice of Radar Outage

Home

A radar outage is affecting air traffic at Oxnard Airport (OXR). The tower team at OXR is prioritizing safety during the outage. For this reason, all touch-and-go traffic will remain in the left-turn pattern for the duration of the outage, which is expected to be resolved by Monday. Additionally, the OXR tower team is limiting touch-and-go traffic to two in the pattern at a time.

We understand the impact this outage has on not just the pilot community, but also our neighbors. The Department of Airports continues to prioritize our progress with Fly Friendly VC, and we are proud to have a strong partnership with many of the pilots that utilize Oxnard and Camarillo airports, as well as the tower teams at both airports.

We will provide updates when we receive them and will be sure to post notice when the radar is back up and running.
