This communication serves as notice that the Oxnard Air Traffic Control Tower is experiencing staffing shortages and will be operating on a shortened schedule on Wednesdays and Saturdays only. The tower, which operates daily from 7 a.m. – 9 p.m., will be operating from 9:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. on

Applications are now open for one Public Member seat and one Public Member Alternate for the Camarillo Airport Authority and one Public Member seat and one Public Member Alternate for the Oxnard Airport Authority. The Public Member shall serve a two-year term commencing March 1, 2026, through February 29, 2028.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) recently announced that Camarillo Airport and Oxnard Airport are among several California airports that have been awarded grant funding for infrastructural improvements. The Ventura County Board of Supervisors and County Executive Officer, Dr. Sevet Johnson, were all instrumental in securing this funding for our local airports.
