Applications for Public Member Seat for Airport Authorities Now Open
Applications are now open for one Public Member seat and one Public Member Alternate for the Camarillo Airport Authority and one Public Member seat and one Public Member Alternate for the Oxnard Airport Authority. The Public Member shall serve a two-year term commencing March 1, 2026, through February 29, 2028.

CMA and OXR Awarded Grant Funding for Infrastructural Improvements
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) recently announced that Camarillo Airport and Oxnard Airport are among several California airports that have been awarded grant funding for infrastructural improvements. The Ventura County Board of Supervisors and County Executive Officer, Dr. Sevet Johnson, were all instrumental in securing this funding for our local airports.

UPDATE: OXR Radar Now Fully Operational
This notice is a follow-up to the radar outage at Oxnard Airport that was announced on October 18th. The emergency repair was completed by the Federal Aviation Administration’s maintenance team and the radar is now fully operational. The Department of Airports extends continued appreciation to the Oxnard Airport tower team
