The Ventura County Department of Airports is pleased to announce that accessibility improvements to our office have been completed, including repairs to the lift for wheelchair access and access for individuals unable to utilize the stairs. The lift now includes a Ring doorbell camera inside the unit that can be used to contact Airport staff should there be a problem with the lift. Emergencies should first be directed to 911 then, if feasible, utilize the Ring camera to contact Airport staff.
Public meetings, which were temporarily relocated to the Office of Education, will now resume at the Department of Airports’ administration office at 555 Airport Drive, Suite B (2nd floor), in Camarillo.
Other improvements include access to an additional drop box that is to be used for paperwork and other airport related documents that do not require immediate processing by Airport staff. (See image below.) No payments should be left in the drop box.
