This notice serves as a reminder that the Ventura County Department of Airports is conducting an Approach and Procedure Analysis (Study) for Camarillo Airport. This Study is a response to community input received during the County’s ongoing Part 150 Noise Compatibility Study for Camarillo Airport. This new study focuses on evaluating how aircraft fly into and out of the airport under instrument flight rules, with the goal of identifying possible procedure adjustments that may help reduce aircraft noise. This Study will include technical evaluations, input from aviation experts, public meetings, and coordination with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
