The project duration is 91 calendar days, with an anticipated reopening date of November 5, 2021.<\/p><p>The construction project will consist of the reconstruction of Runway 7-25 at the Oxnard Airport. Airport operations on Runway 7-25 and all taxiways will be closed for 91 calendar days starting on August 4, 2021. The reconstruction of Runway 7-25 will include the removal of the existing pavement section, construction of a new pavement section, pavement shoulder improvements, installation of a new underdrain system, application of pavement markings, modifications to existing storm sewer infrastructure, and improvements to airfield electrical infrastructure. Runway 7-25 will also be closed at night for 14 calendar days in late 2021 or early 2022 and more information will be provided once the construction schedule is determined for this work.
