As we prepare for the excitement of this weekend’s Wings Over Camarillo Air Show we’d like to send a critical safety reminder to all Airport tenants and businesses to be mindful that the CMA airfield will be fully open and operational for the entirety of the air show. This means that all CMA tenants and businesses are responsible for ensuring that they and their guests stay off all aircraft movement areas to avoid serious injury and possible Department of Airports/FAA action. Again, CMA is a fully operating airport throughout the entire air show event.  It is vital that we collectively work to always maintain normal operating expectations for safe and appropriate activities while on the airfield.
