Under the 1976 Joint Powers Agreement (JPA) between the County and the City of Camarillo, the Camarillo Airport Authority is composed of two members of the Board of Supervisors (Board), two members of Camarillo City Council (Council), and a Public Member. Under the JPA, the two Board members must be selected by the Board of Supervisors, the two Council members must be selected by the Camarillo City Council, and the Public Member must be selected by a majority of the other four members of the Camarillo Airport Authority.
